Nine defining moments. One definitive shoe. The Jordan Jeter Throwback seamlessly integrates nine different shoes from Jeter's most memorable games into a 5/8-cut, high-performance baseball trainer. The upper is made of premium leather and synthetics and works with a quarter overlay system to deliver a lock-down performance fit that's built for Jeter's all-out training sessions. You'll notice the patent leather details are taken from the Air Jordan XI, which Jeter wore for his Championship MVP. The Throwback also captures the explosive power of Jeter's game in the radiating lines, inspired by the Jumpman DJ. Jeter's #2 is emblazoned on the upper using the unmistakable perforation design from the Jumpman Jet. The padded pinstripe tongue from the Jeter Clutch gives props to Jeter's NY team heritage while the iconic stitching pattern from the Jeter Captain reflects Jeter's record-breaking 2722 hits for NY. The Throwback is equipped with a Phylon™ midsole for lightweight cushioning to help Jeter train longer, harder and faster. The molded ankle from the Air Jordan VI, which Jeter wore for his All-Star Game MVP, helps the Throwback deliver flexible support, while also bringing back the supportive heel and collar design from the Jeter Official. The internal heel bootie from the Air Jordan IX ensures the Throwback delivers a secure, perfect fit every time. The molded heel provides flexible support and showcases the signature logo from the '96 Diamond Fury, while the wood-grain tongue graphic goes deep into the stories behind Jeter's standout moments. Finally, the Throwback is finished off with a solid rubber sole, which uses both expanded herringbone and nub traction patterns and allows Jeter to take his workouts to multiple surfaces.
