When they’re not talking basketball or dreaming of getting buckets, they’re checking out the Kids Foot Locker Release Calendar for the latest drops. Kid-sized versions of Jordan Retros have the same details as their grown-up counterparts, so they’ll look fly on and off the hardwood.

The always popular Retro 4 is one of the most sought-after basketball shoes around and would be a great addition to your future baller’s rotation. Or perhaps they want to honor history with the Retro 13. Originally released in 1997 and worn on court by Jordan on the way to his sixth and final Championship, the Jordan 13 is one of the most historically important models in the line. Legendary designer Tinker Hatfield took inspiration from Jordan’s “Black Cat” nickname, and created a sleek silhouette partly modeled after a panther. Or maybe they just want to go with the OG and cop the Jordan Retro 1 High (in the famous BRED colorway).

Looking to make a statement? Peep the Nike Little Posite. The classic Penny Hardaway signature model that introduced Nike’s Foamposite technology in 1997 is sized down for all the “Lil’ Pennys” out there, featuring the same futuristic design as the original men’s shoe.
